The two-element microstrip patch array antenna for 5G millimeter-wave applications is proposed in this research. The patch and ground were made of copper (lossy), which has a thickness of 0.035 mm. FR4 (lossy), a substrate with a thickness of 0.5 mm, was chosen in this research. The proposed antenna has an 8.8 GHz bandwidth and operates on frequencies between 51.6 and 60.4 GHz. At 56.5 GHz, the antenna attains a directivity of 9.25 dBi and a radiation efficiency of 43%. The CST studio suite is used to simulate and model the proposed antenna.
